Girl named Sue is het stylebrand van Wilmasue van Pomeren (1965). Hierbinnen brengt zij haar passie voor authentiek leven en gevoel voor esthetiek samen om te delen met de wereld. Touch and be touched!
Afgestudeerd als fashion designer/stylist aan de kunstacademie ArtEZ in Enschede (1989) is Wilmasue na een jarenlange carriére in fashion sinds 2001 succesvol als zelfstandig stylist, vormgeefster en trendspotter. In 2014 zijn daar workshops voor persoonlijke ontwikkeling en georganiseerde groepsreizen naar ibiza aan toegevoegd en werkt zij als all-round consultant onder de bedrijfsnaam "Girl named Sue".
Daarnaast is er de Girl named Sue webshop, met unieke selecties van sieraden en fashion items. Door Wilmasue met haar oog voor schoonheid gespot op haar reizen of door haar zelf ontworpen.
Over de oprichtster.
"Het zaadje van mijn oorsprong is in Australië geplant, vervolgens werd ik vanuit Nieuw Zeeland door mijn adoptieouders op jonge leeftijd meegenomen naar Nederland waar ik ben opgegroeid en ik na mijn opleiding aan de kunstacademie ben gaan werken in de mode en interieur vormgeving. Mijn werk als stylist met daarnaast de zoektocht naar mijn "purpose in life" heeft mij op vele plekken gebracht waar ik allerlei schatten heb ontdekt buiten, maar ook binnen mezelf. Beide werelden wil ik samenbrengen in Girl named Sue en hoop jou daarmee te voeden en te inspireren, so be inspired & enjoy!"

Graduated as a fashion designer/stylist at the Art Academy ArtEZ in Enschede Holland (1989). After a successful career as a designer in the fashion industry Wilmasue started to work as an independent stylist, designer and trend spotter in 2001.
In 2014 workshops for personal development where added as well as organized group travels to ibiza. Wilmasue is currently working as all-round styling consultant under the company name Girl named Sue.
There is also the Girl named Sue webshop, with unique selections of jewelry and fashion items, spotted on her travels with her eye of beauty.
About the founder.
"The seed of my origin is planted in Australia. At a young age I was taken from New Zealand to the Netherlands by my Dutch adoptive parents where I grew up. After my training at the Academy of fine arts I started working in the fashion en interior design industry. My work as a stylist and my searge for my "purpose in life" took me to many places where I found treasures outside, but also inside myself. I would like to bring these both worlds together in Girl named Sue and hope to nourish and inspire you with it, so be inspired & enjoy! "
